From Germany, thanks to Kochtopf website, we have received a surprising recipe called “Baba Ghanoush with Smoked Paprika” that it’s a typical Levantine dish of cooked eggplants mixed with onions, tomatoes, olive oil and various seasonings (between which it’s our Smoked Paprika), whose origin is established in Egypt.

Pastel de Patatas Canadiense al Pimentón Ahumado / Smoked Paprika Acadian Rappie Pie

Kimberly Turner our bedhead chef from Canada has sents us an “Smoked Paprika Acadian Rappie Pie”, part of traditional Acadian cookery, and the main part of the dish is comprised of a grated potato puree called rapure.


Kimberly Turner nuestra chef de cabecera de Canadá nos ha enviado una suculenta receta de “Pastel de Patatas Canadiense al Pimentón Ahumado”, que según sus palabras es una receta tradicional de la gastronomía de los acadianos, descendientes de los habitantes que vivían en los asentamientos franceses originales fundados en ciertas zonas de la región noreste de Norteamérica, y cuya parte principal del plato se compone de un puré de patata gratinada que se denomina rapure.

Smoked Paprika Red Rolls

NETASA, family-owned business based on Plasencia in Spain and focused on manufacturing and marketing of their well-known Smoked Paprika Powder “La Chinata”, presents a great practical usage of the product in the form of tasty “Red Rolls”, which can be done with York Ham, Turkey, Chicken and even shoulder of Pork. Easy to prepare and featuring high quality ingredients this is an ideal recipe for summer table talks.

In this recipe we use York ham but you can also use turkey, chicken or shoulder of pork.

On a dish we place one slice of ham and add above a stream of olive oil and a little bit of our Sweet Smoked Paprika Powder “La Chinata”. We spread it out all over the slice with the help of a spoon, and then we roll it. We repeat this with the rest of the slices and we put them on the dish. We add a little bit of olive oil and a little bit of our Hot Smoked Paprika Powder “La Chinata” above all. To finish, we put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and the dish is ready to be served.


Add some sea salt above all.


  • 4 thick slices of York ham for each person.
  • Olive oil
  • Sweet and Hot Smoked Paprika
