RECIPE

HUMMUS

INGREDIENTS FOR 6 PEOPLE:

500gr of cooked chickpeas in tin.

2 spoons of tahini sauce (watch recipe below).

3 spoons of olive oil.

1 clove of garlic.

The juice of 1/2 lemon.

A pinch of powdered cumin.

1/2 glass of of water.

Chopped parsley.

Sweet Smoked Paprika Powder "La Chinata" PREMIUM.

FOR THE TAHINI SAUCE:

2 spoons of sesame.

3 spoons of olive oil or seed oil.

A pinch of salt.

ELABORATION:

The tahini sauce can be bought already prepared, but if we can't find it, we can make it at home. For that we do the next thing: we get the sesame ready, if it is not toasted, we wash it under the water of the sink, drain it well and then fry them for 56 minutes in a big pan until browned.

If the sesame is already toasted, we put it straight in the mincer; add the oil and a pinch of salt. We mince it all with patience, because the mass can stick to the walls of the container, so we must push it towards the center with a spatula to keep mincing until we get a smooth mass (we add oil if it is necessary). We reserve. We rinse the chickpeas, drain them and reserve a spoon for decoration, we put the rest of them inside the turmix container. We add the clove of garlic already peeled the lemon juice, the cumin, a pinch of salt and the tahini sauce.

We whip it all well while we add, little by little, the water, until we get a creamy but steady consistency. We place the hummus in a bowl or a serving container, with the help of a spoon, we press

From the center towards outside while making circles so that it looks more beautiful. We add a touch of Sweet Smoked Paprika Powder "La Chinata" PREMIUM and finally we decorate with the chopped parsley, the reserved chickpeas and a nice stream of extra virgin olive oil. We can share this hummus with some nachos, tortilla chips or pita bread. This plate is served lukewarm.
