NETASA, family-owned business based on Plasencia in Spain and focused on manufacturing and marketing of their well-known Smoked Paprika Powder “La Chinata”, proudly presents a new gastronomic suggestion with its “Snacks with three smoked paprika”. These kinds of appetizers are very common in the European Southern countries, such us, Spain, Italy or Greece, and are made with fresh products to be served by midday with a drink.

Ingredients for 6 people:

For the banana chips:

1 big banana

Salt

1 teaspoon of sweet smoked paprika powder "La Chinata"

For the almonds:

400 gr. of peeled raw almonds

Olive oil

Salt

1 teaspoon of bitter-sweet smoked paprika powder "La Chinata"

For the cheese:

200 gr. of semi cured sheep cheese

Olive oil

Pepper five tastes

1 teaspoon of hot paprika "La Chinata"

Salt

Elaboration:

For the banana chips:

We peel the banana and we cut it into very thin slices, this is very important because they must be crunchy, we fry them in a pan with plenty of hot sunflower oil and we turn them over repeatedly until golden.

We move them to an absorbent paper and we sprinkle them with salt and sweet smoked paprika powder “La Chinata”.

For the almonds:

We put the almonds with salt in a pan with a little bit of olive oil, we toast them until they are done equally, we move them to an absorbent paper and we sprinkle them with bitter-sweet smoked paprika powder “La Chinata”.

For the cheese:

We put in a saucepan to heat olive oil, pepper five tastes, a pinch of salt and the hot smoked paprika powder “La Chinata”.

When it boils, we remove it from the fire; we add the diced cheese and let it cool.
