Haricot Verts with La Chinata Smoked Paprika /Judías Verdes con Pimentón Ahumado La Chinata

Gulcin Uyanik Weringa from the Netherlands closes our list of participants of our International Contest with these “Haricot Verts with La Chinata Smoked Paprika”, a tasty an appetizing vegan recipe.




Cooking and preparation time: 1 hour 30 min

Cooking level: Easy



3 tablespoon olive oil 

2 chopped onions

500 grams haricot Verts

3 tablespoons of La Chinata smoked paprika

1 chopped tomato

1 teaspoon of sugar

2 teaspoon of salt

1 cup of water


Cooking instructions;

Heat oil and fry onions until it's translucent. Add cleaned haricot Verts and keep cooking in low heat until haricot Verts are yellowish. 

Add chopped tomatoes, sugar, paprika and salt, stir, add 1 cup of hot water and cook in very low heat for 50 min.

Let it rest 10 min before serving.

This dish can be eaten cold.

It's completely vegan and amazingly delicious thanks to La Chinata smoked paprika! :)
